President – Kanda Alagappan

Mr. Kanda Alagappan is President and CEO of The Algan Group. In that position he oversees the implementation of policies and procedures for recruitment services. Mr. Alagappan’s areas of expertise include business development, identifying niche markets and emerging trends in the technology industries, and forming strategic business alliances. With over twenty years of experience and in-depth knowledge in the technology and professional services industry, he identifies and implements innovative strategies to meet the staffing needs of prospective clients.

Mr. Kanda Alagappan handles client development and recruiting for high-technology industries nationwide.

Before founding The Algan Group, Mr. Alagappan was the President and Co-founder of a software services company that focuses on high-technology consulting in client/server, ERP and telecommunications fields. Prior to that, Mr. Alagappan worked at Digital Equipment Corporation as Service Business Manager. His responsibilities included developing, pricing, and offering consulting service strategies for system management products.

Mr. Alagappan earned an MBA with Beta Gamma Sigma honor from Sawyer School of Management, Suffolk University, Boston, MA, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas, El Paso, TX. He is an active member of the New England Chapter of National Association of Computer Consultants Business and other non-Profit organizations.

Sr. Account Executive – Geoff Regan

Joining Algan in August of 2001, Geoff brings ten years of IT solutions industry experience to our firm. Mr. Regan is charged with expanding Algan’s service offerings into the escalating biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical/healthcare businesses in the region. Utilizing his knowledge of the drug discovery and research process, Mr. Regan has developed relationships with some of the leading science-based firms in the area. Prior to this role, Mr. Regan worked for a variety of solutions providers and IT staffing firms, working directly with Fortune 1000 companies such as Genzyme, Millennium Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth for project-based needs surrounding their clinical trials, BioStatistics, and software systems.

Mr. Regan graduated from Suffolk Law in 2005 with a JD and a member of Massachusetts Bar. He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he graduated cum laude.

Sr. Account Executive – Rick Pegram

Joining Algan in March of 2005, Mr. Pegram brings more than twenty years of Business Development and Sales experience to our firm. Mr. Pegram is charged with expanding Algan’s service offerings into the emerging RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) marketplace throughout the United States. Utilizing his knowledge of the consultative selling and industrial experience, Mr. Pegram has developed relationships with some of the leading RFID firms. He focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and placing Electrical and Computer Science Engineering professionals with experience in RFID/RF applications, Analog/Digital/Mixed Signal design, non-volatile memory design, Tags/Readers, Wireless/Communications Applications, Software/Embedded Software/Hardware design, Product Engineering, Business Development/Marketing and other areas. He works with firms that are RFID semiconductor manufacturers, RFID Software/System Implementers; RFID Applications for Medical/Pharma/Consumer retails manufacturing/logistics/supply chain firms.

Mr. Pegram graduated from Lewis Clark with a degree in Business.

CTO - Al Mucci

Mr Al Mucci handles the complete system administration activities for the Algan Group. He carries of 15 years experience in the IT industry. He is a Microsoft Engineer as well as Cisco Certified. He brings value to technology by looking past technology roadblocks and finding creative ways to address problems.
